Malta, consisting of 3 islands, has experienced all the major civilisations that have inhabited the Mediterranean basin over 7000 years. The whole capital city of Valletta is on UNESCO World Heritage sites! Malta is considered to be a hotspot for divers with many shipwrecks, reefs and caves but also for “English as a foreign language” schools as English is one the national languages. Maltese still drive on the left-hand side of the road, so watch out before stepping on to the highway!
